Economics (Forex) and Universal Parallelism

Siamak Zandpour

This page intends to introduce the scientific applicability of UP (abbreviation for The Principle of Universal Parallelism).

Below a brief example is given of how solar system harmonics can be applied on the base of UP to the fluctuation of EURUSD (exchange rate of EURO/ US Dollar). The data shown is for the 7 year  time range 1-1-1999 to 31-12-2005.

black  line  = extraction of solar system harmonics.

red line      =  EURUSD

The Pearson product moment correlation coefficient r = 0.9629

This is an initial appraisal of this subject. With further research the exact mirror image of EURUSD fluctuation is theoretically extractable.

Here in this figure the daily Forex data for the 7 year  time range 1-1-1999 to 31-12-2005 (2557 data points) have been used. Although the solar system harmonics is also plotted on this daily scale but it is useful only for showing monthly and yearly trends. This is because the cycles of the slow moving outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) have been used only at this preliminary appraisal of the subject.  At this stage of research I do not want to disclose the exact procedure of extracting the solar system harmonics used in this figure. For a detailed explanation on how extracting solar system harmonics you may refer to the research paper

  THE PRINCIPLE OF UNIVERSAL PARALLELISM

AND ITS APPLICATION IN EARTHQUAKE PREDICTION

which has been accepted at national and international conferences on geo sciences. See the section: The tuning process of solar- system harmonics to the harmonics of the sub- reality under study. As explained in this section one of the procedures involves an automated computerized search procedure. According the principle of UP, the exact mirror image of the frequency of the sub reality under study which in this case is the above Forex frequency must exist and it is just a matter of finding that frequency. It requires, however, a fairly good understanding of the principle of UP and the reference sub reality which in this case are the harmonics of our solar system in order to know where and how to search because there are infinite harmonics extractable from our solar system. For example, in one of the procedures which involves the most basic harmonics and considers 11 bodies in our solar system resulting in 55 factors to consider in this search procedure one would have to make a random search of 2^55 = 36,028,797,018,963,968 combinations. If each calculation would take 1 second of computer time it would take

36,028,797,018,963,968 seconds / 60 = approx. 60,047,995,0316,066 minutes

600479950316066 minutes / 60 = approx. 10,007,999,171,934 hours

10007999171934 hours / 24 =  approx. 416,999,965,497 days

416999965497 days / 365.25 = approx. 1,141,683,683  years

approximately 1,14 billion years to search all these basic harmonics. This procedure has been used in extracting the above used frequency. Here the computer was searching less than one week. The research process of applying the principle of UP to Forex data is to start by searching and analyzing the bigger time frames (i.e. yearly and monthly time scales) first and than move to the smaller time frames. Theoretically the exact mirror image image of the frequency under study, whatever time frame it may be, does exist on the parallel relationship somewhere in the maze of harmonics extractable from our reference sub reality, i.e. the solar system. The question is how practically it is extractable. To obtain this exact mirror image which should have a product moment correlation coefficient of 1 is maybe not practically extractable, but a value higher than 0.9 is feasible and quite useful.
