Dialogue versus Clash among Civilizations Siamak Zandpour
We know the world is moving towards a "clash of civilizations" which is being tried to be solved by a "dialogue among civilizations". Clash of civilizations means clash of ideologies. As long as there are diverse ideologies and not a unified ideology acceptable to everybody, all these diverse ideologies are bound to confront each other in varying degrees. This unified ideology must appeal equally to the secularists as well as the non secularists, the ultra religious and the ultra materialists. It must logically address and clarify fundamental subjects such as cosmology, science, technology, spirituality, enlightment, destiny and free will, hell and heaven, God and Satan, pain and pleasure, monism and dualism.
The philosophy of "The Principle of Universal Parallelism" has potentially all the above requirements of this unified ideology, and act as an unifying factor so as to neutralize ideological differences and confrontations.
